s'more brownies

s'mores are one of my all time favorite desserts. after looking at some recipes online, i made a few adjustments, added a few things and came up with my own version. not going to lie, i am pretty impressed with myself.

6 tbsp. butter
2 cups graham crackers
2 tbsp. sugar
brownie mix (i used ducan hines triple chunk with hersheys)
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1.5 cups marshmellows

line a 8x8 glass pan with foil and spray with non-stick spray.

crust: mix melted butter, 1.5 cups of graham cracker crumbs and sugar. press mixture into the  bottom of the pan. bake at 325 for 20min. it should be golden brown.
















brownie: i mixed up the brownies according to the box (vegetable oil, water and egg) and added 1/2 cup of graham cracker crumbs and 1/2 cup marshmellows. pour this on top of the graham cracker crust and bake for 40min.
















marshmellow topping: cover the top of the brownies with 1 cup of marshmellows. put it on the top rack in the oven and broil for around 2min, or until the tops are brown.
















use the foil to remove the brownies from the pan.  cut and enjoy!
















the graham craker crust didn't work out so great. lots fell off while cutting the brownies. next time, i would skip the crust and add extra crumbs to the brownie mix.
